Pre-Conference 2-Day Workshop with Rikke Kjelgaard


There is a difference between understanding ACT and applying it with flexibility, fluency, and authenticity.


This two-day pre-conference workshop is designed for clinicians who want to strengthen their practical ACT skills and become more effective in translating the model into meaningful therapeutic work.


Together, we will explore how to structure and frame ACT conversations, use functional analysis to guide clinical decisions, and shape psychological flexibility in ways that support meaningful behavioural change. We will also work with some of the situations that challenge us most as ACT practitioners and explore how to respond with greater flexibility, confidence, and effectiveness.


Along the way, we will explore how to bring more of yourself into your ACT work, so that applying ACT becomes less about following techniques and more about developing a way of working that is both effective and authentically your own.
